A muscle of the hedgehog, arising on the back near the term i nation of the trapezius, and s rend in the terme orbicularis panniculi, which it antagonizes. dor so pleural (dôr-so-plöʻral), a. [L. dorsum, the back, + Gr. πλευρά, the side, + -al.] In an at., of or pertaining to the back and the side. dorso eus (dors-os'ē-us), n.; pl. dorso ei (-1). [NL.
