Lake

Dwellings ficial, or partly artificial islands, in lakes, or on platforms supported by piles near their shores. Remains of lake-dwellings have been found in Ireland and Switzerland, New and they are still used in Ru ia, Borneo, and Guinea, the Caroline Islands, in Venezuela, New Zealand, and parts of Central Africa.
