SESBANIA

(Lat.), n. f. Seas-ba3n'ia-a3. Fr., sesbanie. Ger.. Sesbanie. A genus of the Leguminoso). [a, 35.] S. segyptiaca, S. arbores cens. Sesban; a shrub or small tree growing in Africa, southern Asia, and northern Australia. The seeds are used in Egypt for haemorrhoids and dysentery.
