Blowing Machine

an apparatus for producing an air blast for metallurgical purposes, Blowitz, Henry Georges Stephane Adolphe Opper de, a French journalist, born in Pilsen, Austria, Sept. 28, 1832; settled in France; was succe ively appcinted Profe or of German in the Lycee of Tours and at Limoges, Poitiers, and Marseilles; was naturalized a French citizen in 1870; and became the Paris correspondent of the London “ Times” in 1871. He died January 19, 1903.
