See spear - gra . The most important is P. pratensis, the common meadow-gra of England, the June-gra , Kentucky blue-gra , etc., of the United States. This is the smooth-stalked meadow-gra , as contrasted with P. tri vial is, the rough or rough-stalked meadow-gra . The fowl meadow-gra or fowl-gra is P. serotina; but the name is also applied to the similar-appearing Glyceria nervata. - Reed or tall meadow-gra , Glyceria arun dinacea.
