melon worm (melonwerm)

Same as melon- caterpillar. Melopelia (mel-o-pēʻli-a), n. [NL., (Gr. μέλος, song, + πέλεια, a dove, rock-pigeon.] A genus of the family Columbida and subfamily Zen aid in a; the white-winged doves.
