Diver

A man, who is employed for subaqueous operations; for which purpose he is fitted with a waterproof dre , the head piece of which has a tube connected with an air-pump at the surface, to keep up a continuous supply of fresh air to the diver while below. Apertures in the helmet are glazed permitting him to see the objects under water, on which he is required to work.
