Fold

fold, n. A doubling of a flexible substance times or repetitions, — used with numerals, chiefly in composition, to denote multiplication or increase; that which folded together, or which infolds; embrace. — v. To lap or lay in plaits to double to lay (the arms, etc.) together; to inclose within folds. — v.i. To become folded.
