Prize; 1906 3d symphony; also composed 3 comic operas, 3 serious overtures; 3 ballet suites, 6 ballades for chorus and stimgs and pf., Symphonic Fantasia, tone poem Salomt, lyric drama Merlin and Vivien, opera Safe produced at Mayence 1909, The Culprit Fay, rhapsody for orch won prize m 1909 of Nat. Fed. of Music Clubs; many anthems, part-songs, pf. pieces and over a hundred songs; 1905-09 in Europe; 1908 condr. at Mayence Opera; 1909-11, condr.
