Purkin'je's fibers

Transversely striped muscular f's having a center of protoplasm with regularly disposed nuclei found in the sub endocardial areolar ti ue of birds and mammals. They are connected with the auriculoventricular bundle and form part of the conducting system of the heart. P's figure.
