TROY

a city of Ohio, in Miami co.; of which it is the county seat. It is on several important railroads and on the Great Miami river. Its industries include the manufacture of foundry products, machine shop products, wagons, tobacco, etc. Pop. 1920, 7,260. town, on Seine, Aube, France; has cathedral dating in part from XIII. cent., and many interesting old churches; public buildings include town hall, library, museum, prefecture; manufactures hosiery, cotton and ‘woolen textiles, yarn. Was important town under Counts of Champagne. Here was signed the treaty conferring succe ion to Fr. crown on Henry V. of England, 1420. Pop. 60,000.
