Enghien

(a ˙ n ˙ -gi-a ˙ n ˙ ), or Enguien , a town in Hainault, Belgium, between Bru els and Tournai. It has a superb castle, and gave the title of duke to a prince of the house of Bourbon Condé in memory of the victory gained here by the great Condé. Pop. 4540.
