Gally

Same as GALLEY, q. v. Gall'y, a. Similar to gall in taste: bitter. Gal'ly Creek, in Arkansas, a village of Pope co. Galoche, (ga- losh ',) n. [Fr., from L. Lat. galochia, sole a Gallica, a Gallic shoe.] An overshoe; also, gaiters extending from the knee, and covering the instep.
