(hik’o-ri-t-ka-lip’tus), n. Eucalyptus punctata, a native of New South Wales, a beautiful tree attaining a height of 100 feet or more. The wood is of a light-brown color, hard, tough, and very durable, and is used for wheelwrights’ work, ship-building, etc.
