Of the vomicae, Syn.: nuces se- U. S. and Br. N. v.Ph's, the seeds contains two of Strychnos poisonous n. _ v. alkaloids (strychnin and brucin) combined with igasuric acid and logan in. Ph.]. An extract of n. v. containing 5 per cent, of strychnin, extractum nucis vomicae fluidum. The fluidextract of n. v., which must a ay 1 per cent, of strychnin [U. S. Ph.]. extractum nucis vomicae liquidum. The liquid extract of n. v. of the Br. Ph. must contain 1.5 per cent, of strychnin [Br. Ph.]. 1 tinctura nucis vomicae. The tincture of n. v. of the U. S.
