Clement i

Muzio, an Italian pianist and composer; born in Rome in 1752. He represented perhaps the highest point of technique of his day, and his influence on modern execution has led to his being characterized as “the father of pianoforte playing.” He died in England in 1832, and was interred in Westminster Abbey.
