Atasco'sa, in Texas , a S. county whose settlements have a umed some importance since 1863. A creek of the same name, running through the county, is remarkable for the purity of its freestone water, from its source to its discharge into the Rio Frio. The county is also watered by the streams Borego and San Miguel. The soil is generally sandy, and the timber-growth is principally post-oak and live-oak. Cap . Pleasant on.
