[Jap.] A rectangular silver coin of Japan, equal to one fourth of a rio or tael. It is not now in circulation, but the name is still some times given to the fourth part of a year dollar. Solso spelled boo, and formerly called (erroneously when more than one were spoken of) ichiboo and itzeboo. bu., bush. Abbreviations of bushel or bushels. buansuah, buansu (bö-an-söä, bö-an-sö'), n. The native name of the Cyon Cyon primævus, the wild dog of Nepal and northern India, sup Buansuah (Cyon primavus). posed by some to be the original type of the dog tribe. It is of a reddish color, pale underneath, between the wolf and the jackal, but with very strong limbs. It is capable of being tamed. See Cyon.
