XYLOPHILANS, Xilophili. (Yunanca köken — orijinale bakınız.) The name of a tribe of beetles, consisting of those which live on decayed wood. XYLOTROGES, Xylotrogi. (Yunanca köken — orijinale bakınız.) The name of a tribe of Serricorn beetles, compre hending those which perforate timber. [s. 1360]
