August us Peck, an American physician; born in Pawtucket, R. I., Sept. 24, 1883. He was an army surgeon during part of the Civil War, and subsequently entered private practice. He has been sent to every International Medical Congre since 1887, and since 1894 has been Dean of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Boston.
