t. [Lat. adorno.] To adorn. ( Scotch.) "Thar lyfe illumynt and anornit clere." Douglas : Virgil , 188, 24. ăn-orth'-ic, a. [Gr. ἀν (an), priv., and ὀρθός (orthos) straight right, as a right angle.) Irregular; abnormal. Crystallogr.: A term applied to all crystals which do not belong to the more regular systems, i.e., which do not fall under the cubical, the pyramidal, the rhombohedral, the prismatic, or the oblique systems.
