Cloth of gold; cloth woven of threads of gold or interwoven with them. Gold Coast, s . Geog.: A part of the coast of Guinea, on the west coast of Africa. s. twenty inches deep. The front edge of the wall is horizontal and stands about thirty inches from the floor, but the top inclines backward at an angle of about 30, and a ledge holds the tiles which close the tops of the furnaces. The crucibles are usually of black-lead.
