In Law. The allowance of an account in the Exchequer. The writ de allocatione facicnda is for allowing an accountant sums expended by him in his office. The certificate of allowance of costs of taxation granted by the master, prothonotary, or other officer of court, is termed in practice an allocatur. [s. 46]
