( Geog.) Pertaining to Etna. E'ton, a town of England, in Bucking hams hire, on the Thames, opposite Windsor, with which it is connected by a bridge, and within a short distance of the Windsor Station of the Great Western Railway. It is chiefly celebrated for containing a royal seminary of education, called Eton College, founded by King Henry VI. in 1446. The average number of "boys" resident here, is about 600, and they are principally composed of the sons of the aristocratic and wealthy. Pop. 4,300. le ne ; light-headed ne .
