[Eng. iodiz (e); -er.] One who or that which iodizes. i-o-do-, pref. [Eng. iod ( ine ), and o connective.] Chem.: Having iodine in its composition. iodo-bromated, adj. Impregnated with iodine and bromide. Jodo - bromated waters : Waters thus impregnated, (Used of springs.) The waters are used in scrofula, in many chronic skin diseases, in internal disorders, and in constitutional syphilis. cine (q.v.).]
