Greek physician at Alexandria, writer on anatomy. Fragments of his works remain. Erasmus, DESIDERIUS, D.D., 1466-1536. Humanist, first editor of Greek New Testament, 1516. B. at Rotter dam, he lived in France, England, Italy, and Switzerland.
