(rom,) or RHOMBUS. [From Gr. rhombos, a gyration.] (Geom.) An oblique-angled parallelogram, or a quadrilateral figure whose sides are equal and parallel, two and two; but the aug les unequal, two of the opposite ones being obtuse, and two acute. [s. 768]
