[ paracyan (par-a-si'an), n. Same as paracyan ogen. paracyanogen (para-si-an'ō-jen), n. [= F. paracyanogène; as Gr. παρά, beside, + E. cyan ogen.] A substance formed by heating mercury cyanide to a point short of redne .
