[From Nagyag, Transylvania, where first found; sulf. -ite (Min.).] Min.: A rare mineral, occurring as crystals, granular, or foliated. Crystallization, probably orthorhombic; hardne , 1-15; specific gravity, 6-85-7-2; luster, metallic, splendent, but becoming dull on exposure; streak and color blackish lead-gray; opaque, sectile, flexible. Composition: Somewhat variable, but it appears to be e entially a sulphotelluride of lead and gold, with occasionally small amounts of antimony and copper.
