[Named after Remijo, a Brazilian medical man.] Bot.: A genus of Cinch on ide. Slender shrubs with axillary racemes of flowers, woolly outside, and the limb of the corolla with five linear segments. The bark of Remigia ferruginea and R. vellosii is used as a substitute for cinchona. rě mind', v . t.
