Camp. — Troops on the march are said to make a dry camp when they are compelled by exhaustion or other causes to camp at a place where there is no water. Dry Guncotton. — A form of guncotton made.up in one ounce dry primers, cone shaped, perforated in the center for the detonator. They are packed in metal cylinders, each containing ten, threaded on a tape. Dry guncotton is dangerous to handle, v being susceptible to both heat and friction.
