Georgian

Caucasian : a family of languages spoken in several dialects, generally cla ed as Turanian , but mingled with Aryan . The main language is the vernacular speech of Georgia, a Ru ian province lying between the Caspian and the Black Seas, which answers to the ancient Iberia. The characters of its written alphabet are altered from the Armenian , which people still call the Georgians by the name of “Virb.” See Tschoubinof: “Dict.
