[Gr. diskos =a disk, and karpos =fruit.] Bot.: A collection of fruits in a hollow receptacle. dis-cô-çěph-a-lus, s. [Gr. diskos a disk, and kephale =a head.] Zool.: A genus of Infusoria, belonging to the family Euplota. One species, Discocephalus rota tori us , is known. It is a native of the Red Sea. dis-co-hër-ent, a. [Pref. dis, and Eng. coherent (q. v.).] Not coherent, incoherent.
