Ordnance: The ring which lies next to the trunnion ring. *cor'-ni-cle, s . [Lat. corniculum , dim in. of cornu a horn.] A little horn. cor-nic'-u-la, s. pl. [Lat., pl. of corniculum =a little horn, dim in. of cornu =a horn.] Anat.: Any small projections like diminutive horns. Two such exist upon the hyoid bone besides two cornua or horns. There are also cornicula of the larynx.
