Plasma

(plaz'mah.) [FromGr. pla o, I mould.] (Min.) A translucent chalcedony, of a greenish color and a glittering lustre. It was formerly used for ornamental purposes, but is now in little esteem.-Also the fluid of the blood in which the red particles are suspended. It consists of serum holding fibrin in solution.
