[Gr. ἀμφί (amphi) = on both sides, on all sides; and σπέρμα ( sperm a ) = a seed.] Bot . Prof. Link's name for a pericarp, which is of the same figure as the seed it contains. ăm-phis-to-mạ, s. [Gr. ἀμφί ( amphi ) = on both sides; στόμα ( stoma ) = mouth.] A genus of parasitic worms, which have two minute apertures like mouths, one at each end of their body.
