(per' '- ig - raf '). The line a alba and linese trans vers a; of the rectus abdominis muscle. Per i fascicular (per-e-fas-ik' '-u-lar) fasciculns, a fascicle. Surrounding a fasciculus. Perifibral, Per i fibrous, (per-if-i' -bral, per-if-i' -brus). Surrounding a fiber. Per i folliculitis (per-ifol-ik-u-li'-tis). Inflammation around the hair follicles. P., Conglomerative Pustular, arare skin-affection, characterized by an eruption usually on the backs of the hands and on the buttocks, of from one to a dozen oval or roundish patches, from half an inch to two inches in diameter, and raised from about a line to a quarter of an inch. The surface is smooth or slightly mammillated and cribriform, the orifices being filled at first with pus, while the hairs, if any, have generally fallen out. There are also numerous unruptured superficial pustules. There is some itching and heat, but no pain or glandular enlargement. The disease is a local one of short duration and leaves no scar. The etiology is unknown.
