tephrodornis

[Gr tephrōdēs =ash-colored, and ornis a bird. Named from their somber plumage.] Ornith.: A genus of Prionopide (in some cla ifications, of Laniide, when they are placed in the sub-family Dicrurine), with four species, from the Oriental region.
