Pig

This animal figures but rarely on the monuments, and was probably not used for food. Hero dot us speaks of seeing a herd of pigs "treading in the seed." (See Agriculture .) From the "Book of the Dead" (q.v.) we learn that Set, the enemy of Osiris, once took the form of a pig.
