[Gr., from kataclaso, I break to pieces.] Distortion, or spasmodic fixation of the eyes; spasmodic occlusion of the eyelids. Also fracture of a bone. Cataclysm, ( kat'a - klizm ,) n. [Gr. kataklysmos - kata , down, and klyzō , to wash.] A washing down or away; a deluge.
