In the adult, this is between the fingers and toes, at the wrists and round tho navel; but in the infant the skin is everywhere sufficiently thin, and the above distribution is not present. Marks duc to ecratching are usually wide-spread, most of the eruption being due to this cause rathcr than to the burrowing of the parasite. Tho treatment consists in the destruction of the parasite both in the skin and the clothing. Tho clothing requires baking.
