(pās'kal.) [From Heb. pîsach, the Pa over.] That which has reference to the Pa over, or to Easter. Pas'chal I., Pope, s. Stephen V. 817, crowned the Emperor Lothaire, and D. in824.-P.II. (Rainiere) s. Urban II. in 1099, and conceded, after an obstinate resistance, the right of investiture to the Emperor Henry V. D. 1118.-P. III. (Guido de Crema), an anti-pope, elected in 1165 in opposition to Alexander III., received recognition by the Emperor Frederick I., and D. in 1168. or CERRO DE PASCO, (pās'ko,) a mining-town of Peru, C. of p. of same name, dept.
