[Perhaps irreg. The great bell's clapper was fallen down, the tyall was broken, so that the bishop could not be rung into the Latimer , 6th Serm. bef. Edw. VI., 1549. town. Tyburn ticket. A certificate formerly given to the prosecutor of a felon to conviction, the original proprietor or first a ignee of it being exempted by a statute of William III. from all parish and ward offices within the parish or ward where the felony had been committed.
