SKULL

The bony case which contains the brain: it forms the forehead, and every part of the head except the face. It consists of eight bones, namely, the frontal and occipital bones, upon its fore and back part; the two temporal and two parietal bones, forming the temples and the sides of the skull; and the sphenoid and ethmoid bones, concerned in the formation of the orbits and nose.
