A Middle English form of sick1. sika (sē'kä), n. A kind of deer found in Japan. sikel (sīk), n. [Sc. also syke, syk, sike sig, fall, sink: see siel, sig.] 1. A small stream of water; a rill; a gutter.-2. A marshy bottom with a small stream in it. [Scotch and North. Eng. in both uses.]
