The power-lathe is driven by horse-power, water, or steam. The rose-engine lathe is a form of the geometric. The spindle-lathe has rotating axis in the head stock, to which the work is attached. The spoke-lathe is a lathe for turning irregular forms. The turn bench is a small portable lathe for the work bench or desk.
