Melasma suprarenale, derma to mela sma suprarenale, or cutis aerea (” bronzed skin “), a disease of the suprarenal capsules, first described by Add is on, and characterized by tuberculous infiltration of the capsules, discoloration of the skin, progre ive anemia, and asthenia, ending in death from exhaustion.
