[Named from Luxullian, in Cornwall, England, where boulders of the rock are found.] Petrol.: A granitoid rock, composed of schist in patches, a flesh-colored orthoclase, and quartz. Not known in position. The sarcophagus in which the Duke of Wellington was buried was made from it. ( Rutley .) *lux-ure, s . (Fr.) Luxury.
