Nevin, Alfred

Pa., 1816-1890. A prominent Presbyterian clergyman and religious editor of Philadelphia. His more important writings include, Words of Comfort for Doubting Hearts; The Voice of God; The Man of Faith; Letters to Colonel Ingersoll; Christian’s Rest; Guide to the Oracles; Triumph of Truth.
