vaporizable

[Eng. vaporiz (e); -able.] Capable of being vaporized or converted into vapor. vā-põr-i-zā-tion, s. [Eng. vaporiz (e); -ation.] The act or proce of vaporizing; the artificial formation of vapor; the state of being vaporized. Vaporization , evaporation , and boiling differ slightly in meaning. Vaporization is a generic, eva por i zati on , a specific word; the former signifying the pa age of any liquor into the solid state, without reference to the slowne or rapacity with which the proce is carried out, or the temperature of the liquid becoming transformed into the vapor. Evaporation generally implies the slow production of a vapor at the free surface of a liquid, and boiling always signifies the rapid production of vapor in the liquid itself.
